De Houston a Madrid
MD Anderson Madrid nació en el año 2000 como la primera filial internacional del centro oncológico más prestigioso del mundo, MD Anderson Houston.
De MD Anderson Houston no solo recibimos la metodología y el conocimiento atesorados durante sus más de 70 años de historia, sino que además se establece una comunicación bidireccional en la que se comparten de forma continua novedades, investigaciones y hallazgos.
Las personas
Una de las características diferenciadoras de MD Anderson Madrid es el carácter multidisciplinar de su equipo médico, formado por más de 150 personas.
Esto posibilita que un mismo caso pueda contar, por ejemplo, con la visión de especialistas cirujanos, oncólogos y radioterapeutas que mantienen una estrecha colaboración y que aportan sus conocimientos para conseguir que un tratamiento alcance el éxito.

From Houston to Madrid
MD Anderson Madrid came into being in the year 2000 as the first international affiliate of the most prestigious cancer center in the world, MD Anderson Houston.
Not only do we receive the methodology and knowledge built up over 70 years from MD Anderson in Houston, but a two-way flow of communication has been established through which news, research and finding are shared.
People
One of the unique aspects of MD Anderson Madrid is the multidisciplinary character of its medical staff, made up of more than 150 people. That means that a single case may have the benefit of, for instance, the view of specialist surgeons, oncologists and radiation therapists working closely together and pooling their knowledge to find the treatment that will be successful.
